Because I'm tired of having to type it all out, now I can copy paste either a journal link or the journal text. The prices on the left are what I paid, may have been discounted, or may be less now and such. Will be updated as I get equipment. :3

Used to have the RG5EX1, (then I decided I didn't need a floyd rose) it's a pretty sweet guitar.

I've always felt five times more versatile with a floyd rose, it's just absolutely wonderful for a soloist. At first all I wanted to do was Steve Vai divebombs, but after playing with it for awhile, I've grown accustomed to rich chorus clean chords with floyd rose vibrato, and the lovely slide-attack combo, and of course, the karate chop, and so much more. :3

But every once and a while, I'll play on a guitar without a floyd, and I feel my hand has a lot more free space so I'm a little more chill when I play. But when I reach for that floyd and feel nothing there I kind of die inside. :(

I'm sorry, it's just that you try to get people to believe you can actually play something you can't.

Plus, Dragonforce are a bunch of wankers. Hell, they even speed up their own solos.
